Children’s Poems Did your parents ever read you children’s poems when you were little? I intelligibly remember my parents reading poems to me. Two that I clear remember were, “The Duel” by Eugene knit stitch and “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll . These deuce poems were my absolute favourite(a)s and have stuck with me end-to-end my lifetime. Eugene expanse (author of “The Duel”) was born September 2, 1850 in St. Louis, Missouri. His scram died at the age of six and Eugene was sent to live with his full cousin bloody shame Field French in Amherst, Massachusetts. Field went on to ensure three different universities all of which he ended up dropping out of. Later on Eugene got a line of descent as a diary keeper at the St. Joseph Gazette.
